My name is David. I'm a Software Engineer currently working on backend applications and infrastructure. I write about technical challenges and solutions related to my work, as well as career, lifestyle, and book reviews.

I have been working at Qualtrics for 5+ years now where I have contributed to several projects to help us scale our data platform to the point of servicing millions of data records per day from survey responses and other products.

I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Computer Science with an emphasis in systems design and engineering through Georgia Tech.

In my free time I enjoy powerlifting, hiking in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Utah, reading, and skiing.
